Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 13, 2026
This policy applies to the China Visa ID Photo 1-Tap iOS application (Bundle ID com.loop.ChinaVisaPhoto).
The short version
China Visa ID Photo 1-Tap prepares China visa–style digital portraits on your iPhone. We do not receive your photos for processing. We do not collect personal data for our own use, we do not use in-app analytics SDKs, and we do not show ads. Network activity is limited to what Apple’s systems require (for example in-app purchases and routine App Store / OS services).
Data collection
We do not operate a photo-upload service for editing. Core image work (segmentation, white background composition, cropping, and checklist measurements) runs on-device. Specifically:
- No images sent to our servers for processing. Face-related analysis uses Apple’s on-device Vision APIs; we do not upload your pictures to our own backend to perform cutout or crop.
- No third-party analytics or ad SDKs in the app for our own tracking or profiling.
- No account required to use the app’s editing features.
- No network required for the core image pipeline — you can pick a photo and preview without internet; purchasing an export uses Apple’s network.
Photos & biometric-related processing
Photo library (read): Used so you can choose an existing picture to process. The selected image stays on the device for our on-device workflow.
Camera: If you use Take Photo, the image is captured in-app and processed the same way — not uploaded to us for editing.
Saved Photos (inside the app): After you unlock an export, the app may keep a local copy in its sandbox so you can reopen or share it from the in-app saved list. These files remain on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
Vision-based measurements (for example head position, eye height, face width) are used only to drive cropping, overlays, and the export checklist during your session. We do not use this data to advertise to you or to recognize you across other companies’ apps or websites.
When you upload to an embassy or portal
If you later upload your exported JPEG to a Chinese embassy / consulate / CVASC website or another visa system, that organization’s own privacy notice and security practices apply to that upload. This policy describes the app only — not those third-party sites.
In-app purchases
Unlocking a full export is a consumable product purchased through Apple’s App Store (com.loop.ChinaVisaPhoto.singleexport). Apple processes payment; we do not receive your card number. For how Apple handles purchase data, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The app does not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Functionality relies on Apple system frameworks (for example Vision, Photos, StoreKit) as described in Apple’s documentation.
Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is not designed to solicit data from minors separately from what Apple’s platform already provides to developers for purchases and support.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Because we do not maintain marketing mailing lists inside the app, please check this URL periodically if you rely on it for compliance reviews.
