Images are processed on your device

PNG and JPEG screenshots imported from Photos or Files are decoded, edited, previewed, and exported locally. Status Bar Studio does not upload images or image metadata to a developer server, cloud service, or generative-AI service.

Photos, Files, and Share are your choices

You choose each import and export action. Import from Photos uses Apple’s system photo picker. Import from Files and Save to Files use Apple’s document picker. Add-only Photos access is requested only when you choose Save to Photos, and Share destinations are selected by you in the iOS share sheet. The app creates a new PNG and does not overwrite your source screenshot.

Local workspaces and history

Pro can save single-image history and Batch workspaces locally so you can resume later. This data stays in the app’s local storage. You can delete saved images and workspaces from the Workspaces screen. Resetting a purchase entitlement does not intentionally delete this work.

Purchases are handled by Apple

Optional Pro Annual and Pro Monthly subscriptions, and the one-time Pro Lifetime purchase, are processed through Apple StoreKit. Status Bar Studio uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to determine Pro access, but does not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple may process Apple Account and payment information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

Information we do not collect

Status Bar Studio has no developer account system, sign-in, image-upload endpoint, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or tracking SDK. The app does not modify the live iOS status bar, capture screens in the background, or use private APIs.

This website

This website has no forms, cookies, analytics, advertising, remote fonts, or third-party tracking scripts. Standard server logs may be processed by the website host, GitHub Pages, under GitHub’s own policies.

Changes to this policy

If product behavior or this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
